Gentle, Exploratory Yoga in Brighton & Hove

A  yoga practice focused on mindful movement, ease and deep listening. These inclusive classes support strength, softness and freedom in the body — suitable for all ages and abilities, including those living with pain, stiffness or movement restrictions.

This is yoga without forcing

This practice moves away from striving, pushing or holding the body in fixed shapes. Instead, it invites a slower, more attentive way of moving — guided by listening, curiosity and ease.

The focus is on how the body naturally responds to gravity, breath and movement. Postures are approached as an exploration rather than a goal, allowing space for release, lightness and balance to emerge over time.

By softening effort and tuning into sensation, the body is given permission to reorganise itself intelligently. The result is a practice that feels supportive, grounding and deeply nourishing — cultivating strength and space without strain, and a growing sense of trust in the body’s own wisdom.

Who this is for

This practice is for anyone who wants to move with more ease, awareness and kindness towards their body.

You do not need to be flexible, strong or experienced in yoga. The work is particularly supportive for those living with back pain, stiffness, injury, fatigue or movement restrictions, as well as those seeking a quieter, more reflective approach to yoga.

Each body is met as it is. Postures are adapted to the individual rather than imposed as fixed shapes, allowing movement to unfold naturally and intelligently.
